The end....

The Last Entry

It will be my last entry so why don't I end it all with class, just like our lives ends... with a funeral!

Today I will present to you 3 alternative methods of disposing a dead body. I know. It may seem controversial, but actually, it is a very hot topic. People are dying. Everyday. Thousands of them. Every second 1.5 of a human being stop existing. And the problem is... we are running out of burial place. Former commentaries are practically unreusable. You cannot plant anything in there. Also, heavily conserved bodies and coffins pollute the soil and WATER. Now cremation may seem a great solution to this but it actually emits a lot of CO2 into the atmosphere. So what shall we do then?
Thanks to American scientists we have some new perspectives!

1. COEIO's mushroom suit:( http://coeio.com/)
A group called COEIO has the most ecological idea. Their idea is to basically wrap dead bodies in a suit made of mushrooms and bury it straight to the ground. This method does not demand any coffins or body conservation. The fungi and microorganism decompose the body leaving nothing behind. Body decomposed in this way fertilizes the soil and causes no pollution. But there is no memorial place in which you could visit your dead relative, which brings us to possibility number 2.

2. Capsula Mundi: (http://www.capsulamundi.it/en/)
For me, Capsula Mundi is the most fascinating out of these free, and the most doable. In this methods, dead bodies are put into egg-shaped capsules and buried in the ground. That sounds too basic, right? Well, this is not the end. On the top of the capsule, a seed is placed, so it can grow roots into the dissolving body and get nutrition for it. Pretty cool. The company's idea is to create memory forest, which you could visit, and this, in a way, would make your loved ones never go away. But this is too 'pleasant', and we are only humans, so let's get to something more disturbing and dystopian.

3.Alkaline Hydrolysis: (http://www.bbc.co.uk/)

Alkaline Hydrolysis, also known as liquid cremation uses an alkaline liquid to dissolve a body. I know, pretty metal. Almost an entire human body dissolves in around 3 hours, what is left goes down the drains. After what you have read it won't be surprising to you that this method is illegal almost everywhere. Buuut it is legal in some parts of the USA!
And with this possitive accent, I would like to end my adventure with blogging. Hope you enjoyed it and that you will remember something from it! I know I will! The lesson that I have taken from here is NOT TO LEAVE EVERYTHING FOR THE LAST SECONDS. Anyway, stay positive.

 BYE BYE ITEAPARTY!
