How does an average American family life looks like? Well, according to the world-famous American Scientists™ and their infallible statistics, an average American family has 1,84 children. Also, only 6,8 people per 1,000 per total population tied the knot in 2015, and the divorce rates reached astounding 50%.
On that sobering note, let's take a look at what really matters - MONEY.
According to the United Nations Economic Commission For Europe, the US citizen grosses the average salary of $4,893 - 5th highest in the world. In terms of cost of living, Americans might need those few extra dollars, with one report putting the US in the 18th place in the world on the Cost of Living Index.

In total, there are 565 billionaires living in the US - the most out of all countries in the world.
But what do Americans get for all their hard work? According to one study that divided the total number of hours worked by the average number of employed people per year (yes, there are people who actually earn money counting all of those things), the US is 16th on the list with 34,40 hours per week per person. Unfortunately for them, Americans don't get any paid vacation days (they have to make terms with their bosses about it), but they enjoy 10 national holidays off.
Americans get quite a lot out of their buck. An average American house is quite spacious, with 201 square metres. What's more, America is 3rd on the list of number of vehicles owned: per 1,000 people at 797, excluding motorcycles and everything else on 2 wheels.
When it comes to education, an annual tuition for an American attending university is $9,410 on average. The class of 2016 in the US owed around $37,172 in loans.
American citizens are not very fortunate when it comes to healthcare: only this year more than a quarter of Americans are struggling to pay their crushing medical debts.
